The Craftworld Story
The Craftworld Iand’Exi or better known as The Hand of Khaine, are outcasts that roam the universe doing Khaines bidding. The Iand’Exi is known for its frenzy in battle, they claim to be the children of Khaine and direct descendants of his blood. Their bravery is unmatched along with their barbaric ways. The Iand’Exi resemble the Iyanden Craftworld and is said to derive from them, as they utilize Wraith Guards and Wraith Lords in massive numbers, but their bloodlust is way higher, it has been said that they even sacrifice Guardians of their own, to gain soul stones for their ghost warriors. The distinct way to know an Iand’Exi is the characteristic bloody Hand of Khaine which every member carries, and the fact that the hand is actually bleeding and leaves a trace of blood upon what they touch, might prove that they indeed actually are from Khaines blood. Iand’Exi travels the universe, ridding it of the Eldar enemy with cold blood, they do not think of alliance or peace, not even other Eldar are completely safe, unless they submit to their bidding. They claim to be doing Khaines work, so defying their word is defying Khaine, heretics. They were driven from the other Eldars because of their ways, although not being too happy about it; it was the will of Khaine himself. When they took off, their Craftworld came too close to the Eye of Terror and was nearly consumed, but the bone singers did everything in their power to change the course of the Craftworld, and in the end they managed to change their doom, but only to find the wraithbone had lost its property. The bone singers were not able to manipulate the wraithbone to the extent they used to, nor could they control the Craftworld anymore. As they drifted further and further away on a collision course with an unknown planet. After a desperate try to stabilize the craft, they all had to brace for impact. Moments later, the craft was on the snow cowered planets surface, very badly damaged and the casualties were many. Although seeming everything was over, after the bone singers recovered, they began repairs of the craft but the wraith bone did not respond to their songs. At one point, a bone singer happened to be standing on some black, glass like rock, when trying to communicate with the wraith bone and the black rock responded to his song. It rose up and he was able to shape it, just like wraith bone. It had the same properties, although stronger but it lacked the sharpness of wraith bone. Iand’Exi began to use this as a substitute, only a small amount of wraith bone was available and responding, this was used for communication in helmets, weapons and armour for the Nanomancer of the Craftworld, while the black rock was used for armour and other items, even the constructs of wraith guard and wraith lords. The Nanomancers of Iand’Exi is said to possess the knowledge of every aspect of the ghost warriors. They are a very dangerous foe to meet and few have lived to tell the tale. The Avatar of the Iand’Exi is also special, as it does not possess the same look or weaponry as the normal Avatars other Eldars are able to conjure. These Avatars are said to be exact replicas of the fallen god and wield not one bloody hand, but two. His torso is bare and his skin black as night. The Army List Saved in word format |
