What is a commision?
A commision is you asking me to paint or convert (or both in some cases) a miniature to your liking for a price we can both agree on.

What will you paint?
Anything, from 15mm historical and warmaster to huge titans, from Dark Age to Games Workshop, it's up to you, but the price will varry from commision to commision. Also if you have any particular requests for your bases, color scheme, I will commend thoes requests.

I want my commision painted to grade 5.
I do not distinguish between grade when painting, I paint all my miniatures to a very high standard, suitable for display. I will not compromise with my artistic abilities. Rank and file or army commander will get the same quality.
If you, however have any specific requirements, contact me and we can see what we can figure out.

I just saw a miniature you (or someone else) painted, could you paint one like that for me?
No, I will not replicate other peoples work, or re-do my own. I will paint miniatures that I have painted before, but retain the rights to reject projects that go too close to what I have done before.

Ok, what does it cost then?
All depends on the miniature you want painted, but as a guideline I use this scale for reference:

Prices include cleaning, undercoating and basing, but not the purchasing of the miniature or p&p.
Small miniature 10mm-20mm: 170 DKK / 15 £ / 30 $ / 22 €
Single miniature 21mm-30mm: 220 DKK / 20 £ / 40 $ / 30 €
Medium miniature 31mm-54mm and mounted: 330 DKK / 30 £ / 60 $ / 45 €
Large miniature or vehicle: 450 DKK / 40 £ / 80 $ / 60 €
Larger miniature: Discuss this with me.
Conversion work: Discuss this with me.
Armies: Discuss this with me.
Units: If you want a unit painted, a discount will be given. Discuss this with me.
Note these are estimates and can be changed at any time, I reserve the right to adjust the price to the commision.

How do I order?
Send me an e-mail with the subject commision or use the link at the bottom here and include the information for your order, or question regarding an order. After the order is placed, you need to buy the miniature(s) and send them to me. If you want I can order the miniatures for you, but I will need the cost wired to me before I can go ahead. No strings attached untill you send me the miniature, I gladly answer any questions you may have, for no cost.

Great, I placed my order, what now?
Now I get to work, the time frame is very uncertain and I take the time needed to complete a miniature to my satisfaction. You can at any time request an update as to how things are going.

I don't want my commision after all, can you send my miniature back?
Affraid not, I will already have begun work on the commision, so I will keep the miniature. This is to ensure me not getting stuck with items and loosing money, but other than that there are no down payment.

What sort of payment do you take?
Paypal would be prefered, but if you want to send a cheque or do a money transfer instead that can be arranged too.

How will you send me my finished miniature?
Generaly I will pack the miniature in a cardboard box nice and safe, protected by foam. I can add ensurance to your package, wich is highly recomended, but your cost for p&p will go up, we will agree on what to do before I send your miniature. All p&p expenses are to be paid by you.
On top of everything, you will recive a CD with all the pictures taken of your miniatures, so you don't have to.

Can I use my newly aquired miniature in painting competitions?
No, I retain the right to publish pictures of the miniature as my own. I can't stop you from using it in local competitions, but if I find that any of my miniatures have been used in bigger competitions you will be blacklisted.

I can't pay right now, how long will you wait?
After I have informed you that your miniature is ready, you have 1 month to respond and place payment or all rights to the miniature will go to me, Tobias Klok Lauritsen, with the right to re-sell it.

I look forward to hearing from you with your commision or question
Kind regards
Seraphim Arts
