My Avatar of Khaine, called "Incarnation of Blood". Click each picture for a larger version. I wanted my Avatar to be fierce and imposing, so I came up with the idea of giving him two bloody hands instead of using his sword. Also, I don't really like the top part of the original Avatar model, and again, it didn't look fierce enough. So I went for Orions upper torso.
The leaf collar I kept, as I actually thought it fit in pretty well, sculpted the rest of it on the back. The right hand I had to sculpt nearly from scratch, also some of the left side muscles were needed to be sculpted. Blood and magma spouts is made from fishing wire with gloss varnish over. I'm very happy with the result, and he makes a great addition to my growing Eldar army.
